Okay, does anyone know exactly where the chassis serial number is on the 320 frame?



I have looked all over and found absolutely no sign of any serial number on the chassis for my '62 parts 320. Pretty sure the manual says the left front frame, but I have found no sign of any serial number. Is it on a plate (probably not) or inscribed/etched on the frame member?

I'll find the page and quote from the Repair manual tomorrow and post - desk top computer is currently defragmenting.

But if you have seen your chassis serial number please let me know where you located it and I look on all of mine as I have found nothing to date.

I'm tracking the aluminium plate on the fire wall, but there is nothing on the frame rail.

Both of my 63 320's have # on frame 18" rear of front right tire

That's about at the mount for the clutch line to the slave cylinder. I'll give it a look. Underneath of my one '65 was a little to dirty.
