Whom are you speaking to? I'd race you in my Civic, but I'm smart enough to know that I'll lose. Not enough horsepower or skills yet, even though my RTs average in the 0.1XXs on a drag strip.poorboyzracin wrote:come up to lexington haha ill race u!!! ill give u a lil head start 2!!! hehehe im putin some shots of nos on it so its goin to be runnin allright hehehe i was kicked outa the track cuz i got it up to 140 and i dont have an aproved roll cage:(

The skill at the strip is in the 60 foot times not the r/t as the clock doesn't start until you actually cross the start line. You can have a 3.00 r/t and still have the same 1/4 mile time.#1 Sailor Scout wrote:

So that's where the torque comes into play?gr8scott72 wrote:

No, that's where your launch technique comes into play with learning the fastest way to get your car off the line. It's different for different cars. The hardest to learn is fwd 5 speeds.#1 Sailor Scout wrote:

I will be working on that.gr8scott72 wrote:

When you can sonsistantly pull a 2.0 or under 60 ft time with a fwd, you got it down.
