Smaller wheels with the same lug pattern will fit fine. The only thing you have to watch out for is the tire size to make sure that the overall diameter stays the same. If it is too far off your speedometer will be affected.

Meh, ugly in my opinion. Not many 20 year oldish designs would look good on the A/C. Maybe they will look okay when on the car.

He doesn't have a coupe. He has an 04 Sedan.

Thanks for the responses. I put the wheels on, and they look alright, a little small with the big gap between the tire and the wheel well though. It also rides like crap now and shakes me all over the road!!
