300zx Engine and Infiniti j30

My engine is lock up in my j30. I was wondering if a non turbo 300zx engine will be a perfect fit to my j30 or do I need special modifications.If you know where I can get a used j30 engine with low miles let me know.

Similarities:engine block, engine head, upper and lower manifold.

Difference:fuel rails, water lines and engine harness.

When I try to start my car it just clonk. I thought it was the starter but found out it wasn't when I Brought a new one. What could it be. If I buy A used 300zx Engine will it fit. My car only have 100k miles and never gave me any trouble for 4 years. This is the engine I was thinking about buying.

The basics are the same however your going to have take parts of your old Infiniti engine to make it all work. Its not a simple drop in.

They are identical as far as internals go. They are different in respects to the exhause manifolds, PTU location, Engine harness layout, Injectors (most JDM 300zx engines still use the old pintle style prone to failure), AC compressor, Maybe PS pump if you have the HICAS model J, and the Balance tube. That's all I can think of off hand but it can go in you just need to swap some parts over.
