Actually I've kinda been on here...just don't post much. :pface

The GTI is a 1.8T...and I definitely can't complain...She's got a little more pickup than the old S14 had...Both great cars though!

This is Jezter's department. I think its at the usual meetin place in Louisville, the Meijers Parking lot. Not sure on the addy. BUT, I could be COMPLETELY wrong, so basically I am no help at all. I am just following people who know where they are going, i.e. cnichols

Yeah I noticed. That might work. 145 lbs huh? I weigh about 290 lbs, so having a person drive her down the track who is half my weight is very tempting, for obvious reasons. I might have to approach you with the keys :D

Forte, are you running at the track? I would like to run next to you. A friend of mine (fellow Nissan/Infiniti freak) wants to see us run em together. A buddy of mine will be taping on the digi camcorder. I figure since we do have the same motor, I might be able to hang a bit ;)

I65

Take the Geen Snyder freeway (I265) East.

Go one exit to Preston Hwy North.

go straight throught 1st redlight and Take a left at the 2nd redlight into Meijers parking lot!

Call me if you have any problems...

No problem Dave, I'm game. Don't have to poke me too much with a stick to get me to bite ;)

By the way, knowing the AT are dogs up top, I went ahead and got the cattman ypipe put on. The car growls now, and pulls like a raped ape up top. It sorta startled me last night how quickly it got to triple digits at WOT from 60mph.

Im still debating throwing the intake on their (it is in the trunk still), don't want to risk getting stranded 400 miles from home because of a blown maf.

If you drive well, I should be at least in your blind spot when we cross the finish line :)

That's if i drive well lol. i am still new to the stick. I've only done 2 drags at a track with a manual. So its gonna be interesting this weekend.
