I posted in the 240SX, 180SX, and Silvia Forum and was told I could get better/faster answers here, so I am reporting this topic in this Forum.

So I will start off by saying I did my homework by reading these threads:zerothread?id=169323http://forums.nicoc ... ?id=158170

I’m broke and this mod seems very cheep and fun to do, and I haven’t done much work on engines so I don’t want to mess anything up. From the reading I did I found the following information, but I just want to make sure I have the right idea.

I have a 1995 240sx, so the stock cams that I have are 232/232 (Intake/Exhaust) and the cam I will need to buy is from a 1991-1993 240sx which have 240/248 (Intake/Exhaust). Now from my understanding I will just take out the stock 232 intake cam from my 240sx. Then get the 248 exhaust cam from a 1991-1993 240sx, and have it rotated 4 teeth counterclockwise (left) and then drop it into the intake side of my 240sx.

Am I missing anything or does this sound right? Let me know if there are any special procedures that I have to follow. I just don’t want to mess up anything in the process of doing this swap.
