Haven't called him in a month or so but I'm pretty sure it's still the right number. And yes he is still open.

Another Bump up for Tay. Guy helped me out on the engine rebuild. The man did some quality work, his attention to the details of the rebuild was second to none. Upon completion, the car idles much better than any rebuilt 240 Ive seen. Working with stock motor mounts, the motor sounds great, idles quiet.

I'll prolly hit him up again for help with the turbo build. Not for a while though, money, job, and maybe a second car comes first. Along with a few more autocross runs and suspension upgrades

And as always his prices are reasonable. Just another stop in the relationship. My only complaint is that he needs a bigger shop. With all the cars and random crap he has in the place, he could use a bit more space. Even if you havent met the man, or dont need anything with your 240, pass by the shop, you are bound to find something sitting in the corner that you can grab off him

Well I went to Tay's yesterday to pick up my new ka head. Sensing I was a noob he told me everything I needed to do to the head before putting it back on. He even told me the history of the car it was on before! All parts are garrunteed.

His number is (469) 585-1344 same as above posted...

Oh and he is driving that black rb26 kouki that was on the lift in the pics... Sexy as all damn getout

He completely built my S14 Kouki with a mildly upgraded RB26DETT converted to a large single.

Honestly one of the best guys I've ever ran across when it comes to the car scene, especially with his honesty and pricing, although I believe he undercharges a lot. Although there is still much work that is needed on my Kouki, he managed to get her running in time of TX2K11, drive it down to Houston and back with the time at Houston just beating the s*** out of it, from an experienced driver, not me.

Anyone who has the slightest idea of getting an RB26 swapped into their 240SX, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND TAY.

I have nothing but positive feedback every time I come back from his shop, and he is a man of his word, followed by the quality of his work. Not very many shops these days put in the effort of what he does, which is probably why Tay is still in business with more customers coming to him every week.

Again, I can vouch for Tay with complete confidence that you will be satisfied with the quality of his work.
He did an excellent job with my S14 and S13, I hope to get another RB26 swapped in, except my dad's 71 240Z in the near future.

Yup! I've heard your car beat a Viper easily. :-)
He also carries a lot of OEM & JDM parts too. I'm going there tomorrow at lunch time to pick up some stuff. It's funny that he never advertises his shop anywhere, but if you drop by, he's so busy I can barely talk to him.

German of GS Motorsports is the guy to go to. He is the only one besides myself that touches my rb20det. He is not a "240sx" specialist, but he does specialize in sr and rb motors. Nissan is primarily what he works on but has done other builds as well. Just some info: Jotech no longer is working on 240's, 300zx, older imports as they are "too busy" with r35's and porches and lamborghinis lol. But Tony of Jotech says that GS Motorsports is now refering all of the their clients over to German.

Anyone know any other shops in the Dallas/Garland are? I wanna hit up Tays, but my car isn't running and I would need to tow it there which is 40 miles from me. So I'd rather tow it somewhere closer to me.
