Looks like this is EXACTLY the guy I've been lookin for. Just bought a ol `93 FB and the motor runs like ***! I have a feeling he'd be better at finding the problem than me fixin little things as I find them. I got a few months before I move to Chi-town and I need this thing to be a lot more reliable. + maybe he'll buy my s14!

Thanks!

Oh and I work in the area.

There is a place called Triwerks Automotive Performance in Garland, TX. They deal with nothing but Nissans!

Yes, he is still in grand prairie, I saw this thread and I decided to go to his shop today at about 8:30. He wasn't there so I talked to the guy in the next shop and he said that he is usually there about 9 so I left and came back at about 10:30 and he wasn't there but i did see all the 240's lol

Not sure if this number is still good or not. I haven't talk to him for a while. Last time I saw him was right after he got back from summer vacation when he was still in Irving.

I'm is desperate need of finding someone that can work on 240s and knows what they are doing. So I'm thinking about contacting Tay, since everyone here seems to like his work. I had an Exedy stage 1 and Fidanza alum fw put in a month or so ago and having all kinds of problems now. Every since the install Ive been hearing a real bad rattling-buzzing noise and now basically having some other issues. My shop recommended a nissan tech AJ over at Urban Nissan thats well know in the area for working on Nissans. As of now I am planning on taking it back to them after I get struts put in but was reading this thread so was wondering if Tay might be able to look at it and have a farily good idea what the problems are even though its more a daily car problem not a high performance issue.

I highly suggest anyone in or near the DFW area to goto Tay's shop, now located in Grand Prarie, off Great Southwest PKWY and West Pioneer PKWY. He not only did my swap, but he fixed many small issues with my 240 at a very reasonable price.

I offered his shop up to a couple of my friends, they all got their work done at his shop too, and likewise, satisfied.

I can vouch for him, although it is weird how I got his info, from a friend I never met before on Starcraft: Broodwars. He told me that his shop specialized in 240SX's, so I came to check it out, the same day I stopped by is the same day I dropped off my S13, came back a week later and everything was running great.

He works on every car as if his own, and I can say, he knows what he is doing, my words do not do enough justice, go and check out his shop, the number should still be the same if I am correct.

There is a reason why he specializes in 240s.

I have some updates on this shop. I dropped by last week and saw this perfect pair of 180sx seats, so I couldn't pass. I didn't know he also carries JDM parts. I've been searching them on eBay forever, but never showed up and he had 3 pairs in stock!!! Anyway, transaction was perfect and I'm very satisfied. Shipping is about $100-$200, so I was glad to pick them up locally. He has a lot of used parts, new parts and rare JDM parts including body parts, so you might want to check with him if you need something for your car. I took some pictures of his shop. Enjoy!

These are the seats that I bought from him. They are in perfect condition.

This is his personal car.

Someone who's about to do SR swap.

Misc. pics of his shop.

WHOA I want that gold passenger side fender. Mine has slightly mismatched paint and not perfect fitment; came with the car. I wonder if that one would be better. I need to stop by there. I've heard nothing but good things.

Tay is F***ing Awesome!!! I took my 1991 240sx w/HICAS down to his shop. He replaced the tranny and told me everything that was wrong with the car. I am so grateful.

Just wanted to give a quick rep out to Tay in GP. I completely trust him with all of my 240 needs. He is quite far from me (50 miles away) but well worth the drive and the price is ALWAYS right. Someone posted a bunch of pics of his shop inside. He has a whole bunch of good stuff in the shop. Highly recommended

Yep can't agree more....he knows the prices of parts by heart, to the T.

I love my 240, but having him as mechanic is a major reason i haven't switched to s2k yet.

lol, he owns a shop, but never advertises himself on forums....yet he keeps getting new customers....'nough said

Oh the gold car is only the lesser of the two evils ;)

There's a local drift event 'Drift Mania 1' this Sunday, and Tay is one of the sponsors. Soemone already created a thread about it on NICO.
