I guess it's lost into the vapor. If anyone has a factory speaker pod that they want to donate, I can make a 1:1 cad drawing of it.

Thanks. Now we lost the picture of it in the car, but this is more important anyway.

Just thought I'd add that I did this with 1/4" MDF several years ago, and by now it has completely rotted/splintered apart. :/ I'll be going with something non-MDF this time around, or maybe adding that plastic liner someone suggested...

Thanks for the template! :)

Looks like there aren't any on eBay at the moment, anyone wanna make some for me? I don't have a jigsaw :/ I'll pay you. :D

Man, I really need to upgrade my speakers up front.
The previous owner put in speakers that was smaller than stock. :tisk:
I don't have any money to spend on speakers though. Maybe I'll take some off an Infiniti when I'm at the junkyard or something. :P

yet again bringing this thread back from the dead..when i bought my car it came with the pre-cut wood (not sure of material) but my car is completely gutted (hatch) and i have a pair of speakers i want to put in for the rear but i'm gonna have to make my own template for the two rectangular shaped holes in the back. unless someone has already made this but i have been searching for a couple days now. i'll post it on here for anyone else who has theirs gutted

does anyone know how big is the hole in the template? obviously less than 6.5" but i need to scale it to the correct dimensions. If i adjust the image to fit an A4 page i get about 12.1cm diameter for the hole. How should i scale this? Thanks
