240SX Convertible Registry

Only 4 cars have been added to the database so far this year. So only 4 of you that have posted since the first are in there. The rest of you aren't in the database.

So of the last 40 people who "registered" here:20 didn't actually enter their cars into the new registry as per the instructions.1 has a completely wrong VIN. (1SickSilvia)8 actually registered in the database here: http://www.az-zbum.com/cgi-bin/vertregistry.pl8 weren't able to copy their VIN for some reason. Without a VIN, there is no way to enter your car into the registry.3 are Canadian VINs.

Would anyone with a Canadian VIN please e-mail me a picture of the MODEL plate? My e-mail is [email protected]

The picture needs to be clear enough to show the VIN, MODEL info, and Color code.

For those 20 people who provided enough basic information, I went ahead and added them to the database. But you may want to verify it just to make sure I didn't copy something wrong.

I don't get it. Is it really so difficult to understand? Why aren't people able to actually enter the information in the actual registry? What is so hard about it? Are the directions confusing?

Let's get some VINs in the Registry, folks - The information posted is useless without a unique identifier.

Once we have a good healthy number of VINs we can start looking into how many convertibles remain on the road and how rare the remaining ones really are.

Almost makes me sad that I modded mine....

Hey Greg, since there are so many people who can't follow instructions (or maybe they're just easily confused) , you think you could fix the first post in this thread so that the instructions for the actual registry are at the top of the post and bolded, highlighted, and flashing? Or remove all that other stuff so that people don't get so easily confused?

Congrats. You're retarded.

ALL convertibles left the factory and arrived at dealerships with automatic transmissions. The ONLY way to differentiate the different cars is by the VIN. The very first post in this thread says what information needs to be included as well as how to actually register your convertible. Until you do that, you really don't provide any useful information to the 240SX convertible community.

The first post in this thread lists in great detail exactly what is needed for addition to the registry. If he can't read that first post and follow instructions, chances are he won't be able to read my reply anyway.
