I have a quick question. I have a '89 240sx fastback and am looking for a bodykit as I bought my car with front end damage and am looking for the Erebuni Shogun style bodykit. Has anyone bought one of these knock-off kits from ebay. I know they dont fit as well as the real kits, but I was just wondering if anyone has tried one. I have plenty of bodywork to do on my car anyways. If anyone has bought one of these or heard about them get back to me.

yes. i have a stolen erebuni catalog lying around my house. if the knock-off's have a rep for not fitting well, then i've heard the same about erebuni's kits not fitting well either. i'd stay away from themif you have front end damage may i recommend you turn your s13 into a sileighty! it will probably run you around the same as doing a entire body-kit/having it painted anyhow!SILEIGHTY! WOOT!

I second that opinion... unless you with a real body kit...

I had thought of that at first, but I dont like the way the s13 headlights look on the fastback but I do like the s15 headlights. I dont have to worry about paying for paitn or bodywork I just want to find a bodykit that makes the front end different. I already have some secret custom designs for the rest of the body, I just need a bodykit. I really like the erebuni shogun the best.

I would love a nice real kit but I am working on a budget ,I didnt want to pay more than 500 shipped as I have money going into everything else in my car. I would rather stick the money into the engine. I just wanted to see if anyone actually bought one of these kits. Thanks for the input though.

If your on a tight budget Id suggest you pay a visit @ http://www.extremedimensions.com they sell really cheap kits but I did hear few thigns about their kits not fitting well.

Oh yea erebunis are known for not fitting well.. and VERY pricey compared to extremedimensions

I like the sideskirt's the best on the Erebuni shogun kit the best. They give the side of the 240 a nice streamline look that flows with the body. The front is also nice for a big intercooler. Everyone has their own taste's in bodykits, to me I really like this kit over any other.

Has anyone took a kit made for another type of car and fitted it to theit 240? I have the chance to buy a real veilside front from a 300zx but it looks to be alot longer than a 240 and seems to be a lot of work to mod it to my car.

it is much wider than our cars.. I wouldn't recomend it at all.. you pretty much will have to fabricate the whole thing and will end up costing you more than just going out and getting kit made for your car!

That is what I figured. The kit looked really wide compared to my 240 bumper. My car dont currently have a bumper as I bought the car this way so I am not sure how it exactly looks in person. I have ordered a complete stock front complete bumper assembly for 100 dollars and I am going to get rid of the front bumper cover. At this point I already have some fabricating to do as my whole radiator core is bent, I hope to get the car to the body shop soon to have the front end straightened but the body shop wants me to have the bumper assembly so they know where to straighten everything. I bought the car off a kid on ebay and he said the car was already straightned. Brought it all the way home to find the frame under the passenger side front is a little twisted yet. Hopefully I can get everything all straightend.

The rest of the car is in good condtion. I cant complain I picked up the car cheap the front end damage isnt going to cost no more than 200 to straighten and I got all the parts for a little under 200 dollars icluding hood, fender, 2 headlight assemblies, washer fluid bottler, radiator bottle, and some other parts.

I got the car for 500 dollars and it only has 130,000 miles on the engine. Was owned by a doctor who kept all receipts on it and had almost everything replaced. He sold it to a kid who had it for a month and did the current damage to it. So it a pretty good car. Where I live there are no other 240's around, so it is hard to find one for sale or even find parts. I always wanted to do a project car and fell in love with this one. I dont want to rice it out. Although it came with a huge exhaust which I would like to replace with a greddy one. I am going to customize this car unlike any other. I want something totally different than the usual 240.

The front end damage isnt as bad as it looks. Everyone tells me it could be alot of work, once it is straightened it will be ok. I would like to find a new core support for it but it seems like no one sells them. I cant wait to get my car done because then I can prove to my boyfriend my nissan is faster and hotter then his nissan.

'88 Nissan Pulsar with ca18det (fwd)I wouldnt mind having the ca18det (rwd) in my car but currently have to get body fixed first. My altimas with the ka24de is alot faster than his pulsar but he is building up his engine and claims he is going to make 300 +hp but I dont beleive it as the pulsar stock does only 120 hp.

Emperor240, I get that all the time from guys, they always ask what a beautiful girl is doing building a car. I am not really into the engine work but i love detailing it and making it look good. I am in love with imports especially nissan's. My boyfriend is also a all nissan guy, its great to have a guy that can understand when you are talking about sr20det, ca18det, rb26dett, all that good stuff. I like a fast car and a hot guy also both at once!
