Fort Leonard Wood is pretty much in the middle between Springfield, Columbia, and St. Louis. I'm pretty new to Springfield, so I don't know much about the things that go on here yet. There's going to be a huge cruise on the 'touge-ish' roads around Columbia and racing later on at night on Oct. 7th, you can check that out, everybody who's been to it says it's fun, and you definitely have to go to the next Midnight Madness in STL on Oct. 13th. I went for the first time at the beginning of this month, and it was huge. There were hundreds of cars and bikes, live music, and all kinds of entertainment. It's mostly drag racing and bike stunts for now, but the drifting is getting really big, I'm planning on entering at this one. I don't know if anyone from here is going, but if you decide to go, we can meet up on the highway, since you live on the way.

Also, check out these websites:http://www.drift417.comhttp://www.driftstl.com/

I've heard of the cruise set for Oct 7th. I wont be making that one due to being in Dallas that weekend for a HIN show. I've been to the last 2 Midnight Madness events and I'm planning on being there for the one in Oct too. We should meet up & drive down there together cause it's one hell of a long drive. Hope to see ya there.

Hey i would totally be up for a 240 meet. But my car is under construction right now, so i wouldn't be able to bring it. But i'd still like to partake in the meet. When and where?

Maybe we could have a real NICO meet, if enough people from around here would be willing to show up. I'll ask how it works and I'll figure things out.

In the meantime, if any of you guys know people with Nissan's and Infiniti's (doesn't matter if they're modded or a family car), ask them if they'd be willing to get together sometime with other owners at a restaurant, just to chat, look at cars, eat, and hang out. This would help out to see how many people would show, so it'd be easier to figure out a place to meet.

^^Aye, this sorta thing gets suggested all the time, but it seems like no one ever ends up on the same page at the same time...so let's get this started right:

ANYONE who is DEFINITELY interested in some sort of get-together, post here with a preferred date(s)...and any dates that you CANNOT attend. If we get a decent list, we can try to plan around everyone's schedule. I'm sure everyone here knows AT LEAST a couple other people with Nissans, hit 'em up!! This will probably be just to get together and grab some food or whatever, like 4N suggested...at which time we can plan a bigger cruise, drift, etc. session.

We'll give this a week(try to email some of the other posters in this thread if they don't post up) for replies and go from there.....

Like this:I for one am in, pretty much any weekend(Sunday would be best)

Your turn!:......

Once we get an estimate on how many people would show up, I can start calling some restaurants to see if they would let us have our meet there.

Damn you guys suck... I was just in springfield for a few days visiting someone at MSU... It took me roughly 2 and a half hours. stopping for about 10 min to air up tires and stretch. I was doind arounf 85-90mph the entire way. lol. Anyways you guys should really try to make it to the october 7th meet in columbia. It'll be a blast.

Okay...so it looks like a Sunday!....so far we got 4N, slickster, cisco, okibum, Mike(if he really wants to drive down from STL), and your's truly.........drumroll.....

6 people..and I'm sure we could get Brian, Damon, and anyone else from drift417 that hasn't already posted up.....(check on that 4N?)

We'll hammer out a date over the next couple days, and post up an "official" thread perhaps?

Oct. 15 would work for me. I will be getting back from Midnight Madness in STL on Oct. 14.I'll be in KC on the 22nd, so I wouldn't be able to make that one. By the way, there's a NICO meet in KC on the 21st if anybody's interested, and people meet up every Friday and Saturday night to drift.

I'm not from Springfield but I do visit about once a month. So how about somewhere around Battlefield Mall? Just a suggestion.

I'll scout out some restaurants around there this week, and I will get back to you. What would be a good time for everyone? Would 4:00pm work?
