24 month checkup, worth it?

First off, my apologies if that has already been discussed, but is the Nissan 24 month checkup worth it? I keep hearing problems with peoples sway arms and clunking, and although my car doesn't make a clunking sound when I rotate the steering wheel from side to side (fully left and fully right), I swear I sometimes hear something up front if I'm making a sharp turn at a slow speed.

Also, would it make more sense to wait on having the 24 month inspection since stuff is covered by warranty? I mean if something is damaged and it fails, it should be covered by warranty, right? So wouldn't it make more sense to have the vehicle checked out prior to the 36month,36,000 mile warranty is up?

Also, I have my oil checked regularly, tires rotated, replaced my air filter and in-cabin air filter. Is there anything else that I really should have checked? I want this car to last but I also don't want to waste money on something that seems to be fine.

Thanks in advance!

How about your transmission fluid? Your dealership should skip any service that is not due (so you won't pay to have your tires checked, oil changed, filters changed if they have already been done).

The Camel is scheduled for his 30K/24 month checkup on the 3rd of April... I've got 302XX miles and he's barely 10 months driven...

I haven't checked the transmission fluid? Is that easy to do on the Versa? I know on my Grand Am I had to be a contortionist to get to it.
