225 tires on Spec V 2002 ???

Hi, I'm new to the forum and I hope I will not ask a question that is already in an another thread... I have a 2002 Spec V with the eibach sportline drop. Is it possible to change my tire width for 225 without problems? Thanks

225/40/17 will fit, 225/45/17 will cut it close, but you should be fine there too.

225/40/18 is what I run on my 2002. The only thing is it will rub a little in the rear on one side for some reason but if you roll the lip or shave them down about 1/8th of an inch you will be fine.
