The P0300 multiple cylinder miss fire code came up on my Rogue. The car seemed to be running fine, no fast idle, hesitation or anything. I went ahead a replaced the spark plugs (car has 91000 miles). The code came back the next day. There are no other codes just the one. One of the coils had a little white dust on it so I replaced that one coil. Its been 3 days and so far no error codes. I really find it had to believe one coil would cause multiple cylinders to miss fire but you never know. I would think someone relevant to all cylinders would be the most likely fix, like cam or crank sensors, Air mass sensor or vacuum leak. I didn't find any vacuum leaks. If this error returns what is the best way to narrow it down other than just replacing parts? Can I drive the car without causing damage since it really shows no signs of an issue other than the code.
Thanks,
Paul
