2015 SL owner looking for Homelink option

I'm 4 days into my new 15 Rogue, and so far I remain happy with my purchase. I discovered after the sale that the mirror with homelink can be bought and installed by the dealer. Despite one of the managers being an acquaintance, he cannot do anything to help with the 235 price; he will not charge for the installation-what an angel.

I know that I can do the home installation of a homelink module from eBay, but naturally I'm hesitant to cut or make holes anywhere in my new car; obviously I can get the 80s style remote that clips to the visor for $15. Nah.

Has anyone attempted the installation of the homelink module on their 14 or 15 Rogue?

I wasn't referring to the Nissan OEM mirror. I am quite handy and I'll do anything but those instructions look intense. There are posts of people that had the dealer do it, and even they got it wrong.

I was referring to the module that comes built into sun visors, they get removed and sold on ebay. That installation is somewhat simple and cheap ($40 or so). I am looking to see if anyone has done it to their Rogue or if they've found alternatives-wifi app, etc.
