I'm now on my 3rd replacement driver's side and almost on the first passenger side sun visor. Anybody else having the same issue?

After a while the visor just doesn't want to stay against the window anymore, and flops back pointing straight down.

Edit: seems somebody on Edmunds.com has the same issue... http://www.edmunds.com/nissan/rogue/201 ... isors.html

Edit2: on a different forum, for a Murano, adding additional screws to increase friction to keep visor up. Am hoping this can get fixed by Nissan... http://www.nissanmurano.org/forums/82-1 ... fixed.html

Dunno what to do other than keep bothering the dealer with yet another floppy visor?

I've noticed that it seems the visors in the new 2014 seem to be too heavy for their hinges. Our Rogue seems as though it will eventually suffer from the same problem.

As it will pose a potential safety hazard later on, perhaps Nissan will find the problem recall worthy. Until then, I might revisit the dealer and tell them that the visor flopping down impairs visibility and poses a safety issue, and it needs to be taken care of under warranty promptly.

Good luck!

Today I had the driver's side visor replaced for the second time, the passenger visor for the first time. Over time these become 'floppy' and don't stay deployed anymore.

Anybody having the same issue?

Dude! Did you forget that you'd already started a thread on this topic? Merged.
