2014 Rogue Select backup camera

As most of you probably noticed, the backup display is barely viewable in daylight when the sun enters the cabin. I have set the brightness to max but it's still problematic.

Has anyone figured out if the video feed from the rear camera can by intercepted and fed to a better dash mounted monitor?

I seem to recall these things were discussed previously. I was under the impression it's a proprietary system, so it won't work. Although that was in reference to the around view camera system. It may be possible to send the raw signal from just a backup camera to an an after market unit. Have you checked with a local aftermarket shop that specializes car audio systems?

You might also want to look into buying a screen protector for your vehicle's display. These protectors are typically anti-glare too.
