2012 Nissan Versa 4 speed auto

Is the transmission drain plug magnetic? The guy at the dealer parts dep said its not but for my other cars that are a Honda it does have it. i want to know cause i dont want to take off the drain plug since i don't have the crush washer and i just want to change the fluid and i have a pump.

Likely not, they often put magnets in transmissions but in the drain plugs usually limits the size of the magnet, you want one bigger than that.

They say to change the crush washers but depending on what they are made of you can often use them more than once. Depends on the condition of it when removed.
