Planted early this year (April 1st)
4 rows blue lake green beans
5 zuc plants
9 yellow squash plants
4 or 5 pickling cuc plants
28 pepper plants - jalapeno, sweet banana, hot banana, bell (yellow, orange, chocolate)
8 broccoli plants
8 mater plants
Ocra
Spinach & romaine.



We put down mulch between the rows so not so muddy


Beans!!




Threat of frost....


Jump forward to today
Have been sauteeing zuc, squash.
Have had zuc lasagna and squash casarole!!! YUMMY
And, salads

Just got thru picking the green beans...almost 2 buckets!
And, picked 1 bucket on Saturday.
Not bad for the third picking.
Tired! 30 min heavy bag, 20 min elliptical, then 4 rows of beans...

Becki, YES, would trade veggies for a detail job!!! You need to move to NC....better BBQ anyways!!!

Fresh green beans and another squash casserole last night!!! Ate tooooo much!

Nate, we are having rib-eye's tonight with garden fresh zucchini and peppers on the grill!!! and there may be beerz!
Rachel, however, is working late.....such is life post college!!
She traded in the 00 Max on a new Altima coupe which she has been wanting since they first came out.
Works full time for a graphics design firm. Went to visit her last Friday around 3PM and they were playing corn hole and dranking beerz!!!!!
MUCH different than working at (soon to be) the nations largest power company!!!!

Nate, I must confess...I have a very self motivated young woman as a daughter. She was never satisfied with just getting an A She wanted to learn more and be the best that she was able to be......VERY competitive...and yes I married up!!
I've been very blessed with a great family!!!
