exactly,corvettes are too expensive for the average joe to own,so there for to get their muscle car fix they buy a mustang gt and get a good platform to build off of.Granted the corvette has a better platform to build on,but not everyone wants to blow 50k and some change.

You know what I'd love to see? A new version of an older car that has the same exact body as the old car, just touched up a bit. Like a chuki with a modern interior and junk. These radical design remakes of older cars are more miss than hit.

You know, I've been thinking of that too... Ever since I saw a video of Nomuken in a Nissan plant watching 180sx's being assembled...

I mean, hasn't GM and Ford release old 'new' chassis' for the public? But we know that's never happen in America for the import lovers...

llol idk bout you guys but i personally think new cars are being desgined way to futureistic, there all bulky i dont like em the trans looks like a camaro and corvette smashed together! i dont like many new cars

I must say, I think the 09 Camaro is sex on wheels.

Big V8, IRS, probably the vette's 6-speed, all for maybe $30k? Maybe less? SIGN ME UP.

You really felt the need to bump this thread? Are you aware GM dropped Pontiac like two months ago?

It'll never get made cause GM already said they where dropping the Pontiac brand at the end of the G8 run. So unless it cokes out as a Buick, it won't happen.

ASC has made a conversion kit for the new Camaro to make it look like a Trans AM.It looks pretty sweet IMO.

Yeah i agree they could have done better but i still like it.Ide rather have it over a stock looking Camaro.
