Hi Gents,

I have a 2011 M37x with the 20" wheels that I picked up this past summer, but I need to get some winter tires and wheels pretty soon to survive the Canadian winter. What tire and wheel size do you guys recommend? Ive been quoted 245/50-18, 235/55-18 and 235/60-17. Any advice would be awesome. Also, any issue with getting them from Tire Rack?

Thanks,
Dave

Welcome to the forum!

Tire/wheel size is a matter of preference honestly, truly a matter of what your budget is and how much you want to spend. I wouldn't go with anything smaller than 18's though. The 245/50 you mentioned above is the size used on the OEM 18's so that would be the size to get.

Go to Tirerack.com and see what the smallest wheel and thinnest tire possible is.
Here is a great description as to why.

Thanks guys - I ended up getting some Blizzak WS 80s and some decent wheels through Tirerack. Everything went smoothly. Cheers
