So I posted previsouly that I recently bought a used 2011. I'm still getting used to it, but I was wondering if others have any hints with the different drive modes. The guy at the dealership said you can change modes in the middle of a drive, but some of the wacky things that have happened I'm wondering if this was the cause. Then again, some are not. Sometimes I start the car and the tachometer revs up to 2000 RPM's and won't go down until I actually start driving. Other times it seems like it just doesn't want to shift since the RPM's just go up and won't decrease. Actually the other day I had it in sport mode and it revved up to 6000 and stayed even after I took my foot off the accelerator. It didn't decrease until I actually changed driving modes. Just curious of there might be any explanations or tips about best use of the driving modes.
