Joel can confirm, but I think T-tops and/or Targa tops are ok, just not convertibles.

Ok, I'll wait for him to chime in to be sure I give the guy the right answer. He says he should have a cage by then but was wondering just in case.

Torry is correct. No rollbar is required for a T- Top Z, but he will need to have the roof panels on when he runs.

Yo. I'm coming to this event again. I totally regret missing the 2008 event (been to the 2007,2009) so I'm not making that mistake again

I do have some good news like I said from the last show. My 240 finally has a running engine SR20 swap is fnished. And yes I do want to run it for autox and drift. Finally I get my chance to join in the fun!!!

My tires probably won't pass inspection. they have tread but I've been having too much fun 1-3 gear sliding in the rain down my road so there really close. If it's suggested I get tires I will. but I'll end up getting new tires since I don't have junk ones. (any suggestions?)

SR20DET BlacktopGreddy intercooler3" full exhaust (high flow cat)Modified stock KA24DE intake. (zip tied in place)Koyo all aluminum radiator.

everything else is untouched. including my busted driver side door from the previous owner (I have a new door just haven't had a chance to swap it. might be done before May. might not)

also if anybody is running past Allentown I'd like to join in the drive. If not I'll head to Dover and drive in when the gates opens (I have family there)

Glad to hear you're coming again. As far as tires, If you plan to drift a lot and your rears are already worn down, you'll probably want to bring a few extra mounted used tires with you anyway Remember we only tech once, when you arrive.

Zerkster: Got you on the list too.

Thanks, guys

On a side note: I'm not finding ANYTHING worth a damn for rental cars!!!!

Either the rental agencies have dropped anything RWD from their lineup, OR they know I'm coming to Carlisle.

Haha, awesome... Thanks again Greg, just let me know what you need from me. I need at least a tandem partner or 2 to come along too. Aside from my friends... but Im guessing tandem with full cage cars only, correct?

i got the helmet to the fire suit and a full spec cage, just let me know what I need to bring besides a helmet and my 2 turbo cars...

The cage setups are entirely up to you, even if you want a do a tandem run. In fact, roll bars are only required for convertibles. About the only thing we'd ask that as a staffer, is if youtake passengers that the passenger seat in the car have a similar type of restraint as the driver seat.

Not online at least.

I was thinking '10 Mustang or Genesis Coupe. I'll keep looking.

They didn't list the vette online 2 years ago either. I called each rental company at the airport before hand to get a list of the cars in their fleets.

And the Genesis coupe would be a fun rental car. Especially if you could find one in a manual.

I believe most of the staff plus the Altima Coupe folks will be at the same place as last year:

Holiday Inn West - Mechanicsburg, PA5401 Carlisle Pike Mechanicsburg, PA 17050717-697-0321

We'll likely offer Friday afternoon tech/registration at that Holiday Inn parking lot again to help ease Saturday morning congestion at the fairgrounds .

LongBeachCoupe had a block of "lodge" rooms in the holiday Inn set aside at a reduced rate (noisier area), but I'm not sure if there are any left. Tracy was the hotel contact about the lodge rooms.

Just for everyone's information, although many NICOnauts are staying at the Holiday Inn West, booking rooms there is not required. There are many good hotels/motels along Carlisle Pike including some that are less expensive and closer to the Carlisle Fairgrounds. We had a very good experience with the Holiday Inn folks last year so we recommend them as a good place to stay. Should be a fun place again.
