I believe most of the staff plus the Altima Coupe folks will be at the same place as last year:

Holiday Inn West - Mechanicsburg, PA5401 Carlisle Pike Mechanicsburg, PA 17050717-697-0321

We'll likely offer Friday afternoon tech/registration at that Holiday Inn parking lot again to help ease Saturday morning congestion at the fairgrounds .

LongBeachCoupe had a block of "lodge" rooms in the holiday Inn set aside at a reduced rate (noisier area), but I'm not sure if there are any left. Tracy was the hotel contact about the lodge rooms.

Just for everyone's information, although many NICOnauts are staying at the Holiday Inn West, booking rooms there is not required. There are many good hotels/motels along Carlisle Pike including some that are less expensive and closer to the Carlisle Fairgrounds. We had a very good experience with the Holiday Inn folks last year. Should be a fun place to stay at again.
mmmk I'll get on that, ASAP. I'd rather stay in the same hotel as all the NICO members so I won't miss out on all of the shennanigans, haha.

related question: will you all laugh at me if I try to autocross my sentra (for fun)???? hahaha. I'll prob go like 5 miles an hr and hit all the cones but I promise to replace them!!!!

Nah, no one's gonna laugh. You should get out there and try it. It's a lot of fun. And I'll bet you'll do much better than you think. As info, we have never enforced the rule for buying corner workers a beer for each cone knocked down.

Depends what the forecast is. If it's no rain in site, then we'll probably not care about the wipers. But just as a fair warning, the weather the last couple years has been pretty wet. 2 years ago was a monsoon.

No problem. The paddock is pretty big. I'm sure everyone from DriftPA will be able to park together.

Name is Blake A. MacDonald, and I'm down. i'll be coming in the bimmer (sold the s14) and might give it a shot at some drift and autox, but depending on how much it is... so how much is it and where can i pre-register?

its the weekend after finals up here at Penn state,(engineering sucks that much, but i'm almost done), so i'll be drunk at night and lookin for some fun in any way, shape, or form.

i'll be meeting up with steve, shally, jon and who ever else from the beginning of DriftPA (was once padrift lol). hopefully mike s (whiplash) and wade will be out there too i'll have to ask em, been too long since i've seen everyone else too.... almost 2 years...

*edit* also want to know what hotel everyone is staying at, i'll have money so as long as its not 200 a night i should be good. i plan on getting into some sort of trouble, just no felonies, looks bad on a resume

lookin forward to this and i wont mind helpin out a bit

Count me in again for AutoX.NICOFest was my first ever AutoX event and I got hooked instantly! You guys were awesome and I can't wait to do it again. Got a few more goodies under the hood this year so I'm hoping to be a little more competitive. I'm gonna drop a line over on the Evo forums and see if I can't get a few to come out with me.

Most of the staff & Altima Coupe folks are staying at the Holiday Inn West Mechanicsburg. Address and number is on the previous page of this thread. Not the cheapest or closest (to the Fairgrounds), but I'm sure there will be a lot of action there. Great fun there last year.

Here's the link to Carlisle's Registration page.

http://store.carlisleevents.com/

Last year it was about $50 to get in with your car. (The $20 admission you might see is for walk ins) And since you've registered here, the track use is free

.

Welcome back. And by all means, we'd love more folks with Evo's. Please make sure they register here, so they get on the track free.
