I was lookign through my local buy and sell and came across this add that said. "86 200sx TURBO, 5spd, fully loaded $2650" cdn funds of course. My question is would this have the SR20DET engine in it??? cause if it does i'm buying it just for the engine.

the CA18DET goes up to 400hp+ thats atleast what one of our brothers had. IDK know about the CE18ET, it should be able to with stand a lot of power it's a nissan :)

its a old school ride and i dont think they have the same mounts as the ca18det so u couldnt do a swap without some major work not worth it. its a nice car though if u were going to drive it. it be a super sleeper.

The CA18ET has potential, but not as much as the CA18DET. The ET has weaker rods and pistons, plus a low flow head. It should probably top out around 300hp.

The CA18DET is a straight swap into the S12. It came stock in the 1988 200SX in Australia and Japan, so the motor mounts are identical to those found on the CA18DET. There's already two members with SR engines, which were both straight swaps.

I was thinkign of getting the engine to put in my s13 240sx but if the engines not that good then I;d rather spend my money on a twin cam pulsar for 3K
