Yeah, I'd like to try Pocono at some point. It's on my list. My new track to try this year is NJ Motorsports Park's Lightning. I did Thunderbolt for the first time last year and thought it was fun.
Bubba1, don't waste your time with Poconos. IMO, Poconos over charges clubs for such a crappy course. A lot of pot holes and bad tarmac/concrete transitions. I'm sure the tri oval is in great shape but when you get into the in fields, its just crap. I hated running Poconos with my bike whether it was the East, North or FUSA course.

NJMP is the the $**** from what I've heard from my sportbike club. Although the track opened up last year, I couldn't run it because of my two back surgeries I had. I look forward to running both the Lightning and Thunderbolt tracks this year and scrapping knee in the turns

I'm in like a fat kid at McDonald's.

And wth, sign me up for drift, too. I'll see if I can't dig up some track use only tires between now and then.

ATTENTION... ATTENTION... ATTENTION!!!

I have gotten my group room rates for you at the Holiday Inn... This is where LongBeachCoupe stayed last year.. The place is Bad A**!!!! Live bands at night, girls in Lingerie dancing on the bar, and the biggest HEATED deck in pa!!

Holiday Inn West5401 Carlisle PikeMechanicsburg PA 17050717-697-0321

The Lodge and the Hotel are at the same location!!

Lodge Rates.... $49 per night!!! You can't beat this!! However, they only have 10 lodge rooms left.. after that we have special hotel rates too!!

Hotel Rates... $89 per night!!! This is still better than anywhere else!!

Give me a day to set up the contract for the hotel rates, but you can start booking for the Lodge now..

When you call for a Hotel room, tell them it's for NICO and you'll get the $89 rate..

If you have any questions, please feel free to message me, or give me a call at 717-265-3525

when I spoke with them during the week, they told me rooms were beginning to fill quickly, so I recommend making your reservations sooner than later. The cheaper rooms always sell out first.

I think NJMP will be a nice facility when they finish it, IMHO the stuff they've completed so far is very good, but they still have work to do.

At this point, I'm not sure they'll allow it as they're not officially open. Last year they were open for biz on Friday. My guess is they'll say no, but if anything changes, I'll let you know.

Posted this in the altima coupe sections, but figured maybe someone here might know a fix...

Trying to order myself a NICOfest ticket and keep getting an "Unable to authorize payment: Error reading from 'https://secure.authorize.net/gateway/transact.dll': Invalid HTTP response" error when trying to submit the CC info.

Is anyone else having the same problem? Marisha, I'll email our contact at Carlisle Events and see if he can get it resolved.

Absolutely. If you can give me the NE people's names, I'll gladly add them to the list to run free too.

Tried again today, hear that Dangeris got it to work, and got a different error. Now it says "Unable to authorize payment: MD5 Hash mismatch. Please contact the store administrator if you continue to experience this problem."

It just doesn't want me to go

I just got an email from them. They are having their IT department look into it. It appears to be a problem with an update they did for their online shopping cart. In the meantime, they said you can call and register instead.

Phone number is (717) 243-7855.

Well, work pulled a fast one & decided to make a bunch of changes. As such, I'm switched to a new platoon as of the second week of April, which puts me unavailable for this meet now.

Totally bummed.

hey bubba, just curious, is there a driver limit? i have a feeling you will have at least double to triple the amount of drivers as last year... i mean, i might expect you to see about 30 from my site alone. carlisle is buzzing about like no other around my forums... if i were you, i would highly consider reorganizing the drift sessions due to high amounts of drivers. like a lap limit and driver limit by the day. we all want to get in as many hits as possible. also, tandem should be allowed for any car with a cage... it can also help move the line along with 2 cars on the course. any tandem should be discussed between both drivers before hand of course, but i think the option should still be there.
