I am pretty sure I send in the S30 flanges, but I took everything, just in case. I sent e-mails to Modern Motorsports asking them to return my calls because I have about a million questions, but they never return the calls. Their e-mails to me said to just order stuff that's the way they are set up to do business.Kinda sucksevildky wrote:modifying the zx companion flanges? or modifying the S30 flanges?

Jeez . . . I'm glad I'm not your son . . . but being YOM is good. Love what you're doin'. Hate to admit that you're way over my head on most of the tech details now. Enjoy watching - go kid go!gmac708 wrote:

It's still here...runs great. I really am amazed what a great daily driver it is. No starting problems, no leaks, everything works. I steal it from Cam every now and then just to get a few smiles.AZ89two4Tsx wrote:

I think it is F***ING awesome Gordon!gmac708 wrote:What do you think?
The Z31 oil pan (p/n 11110-20P00) is a rear sump pan that works with the RB26/240Z. Unfortunatly, that part has been discontinued. I have located a vendor that can fab up a new 8 qt pan w/surg tank, baffles, and breather. I will post pictures as soon as it gets here.boro drift wrote:What are you going to do with the oil pan? I have read that RB25 pans have a couple bolt holes that don't line up with the RB26 and leaks are inevitable. From what I've heard, you have to cut the diff out of the RB26 pan and patch it up. Just wondered if you knew.
I hope you ordered a grade 8 Nismo part. The factory grade 5 pivot bolts Love to snap when paired with anything stiffer than a factory clutch.gmac708 wrote:I was getting the trany washed up and ready to install and noticed the pivot ball for the clutch arm was broken off. The arm must have been bumped during shipping. Had to order one of those, also got some intake manifold gaskets at the same time.
POOP! I ordered 30620-21U23. That is the stock one. I did get the twin carbonetics clutch. Got the street version, not the race, so hopefully it will last for a while. I never even thought about different grades being available.FlatBlackIan wrote:
