I may have found a 2012 Rogue to replace my '08.
Looks to be about the same (though I've no idea if it is an 's' or 'sl').

Assuming it to be an 's' like the '08 - will someone here tell me what may be the differences with the newer model year please ??

Thanks for reading & any helpful replies !!

There isn't a whole lot of difference in them between '08~'13, mostly just the amenities available. Some of them from '10 up will have a factory radiating cooler for the transmission, that's a big plus.

Thanks for that info VStar650CL.
That seller took my # & was 'sposed to call - but hasn't.

Looks to me that with so few ever being offered for sale that this model is every bit as good as my time with one has lead me to believe.

I've got some weeks before my need to replace the '08 becomes urgent, so I'll just keep watching with the desire to score on one in really good shape.

I think 2 big interior differences are the paddle shifters went away after 09 and the center screen on the 2010-13 is better (but still monochrome LCD).

2012 model year update:

Changes to the 2012 Rogue includes new aluminum-alloy wheels design, sport mode to the CVT, one new exterior color (Graphite Blue), Around View Monitor for SL package, which creates a composite top-view of the vehicle's surrounding and displays it through a LCD monitor.

"Special Edition" (replaced "Krom" edition) adds 16-inch alloy wheels, a premium audio system, satellite radio, privacy glass, rear view monitor and fog lamps to the S trim.

I did locate & pay for a 2012 Rogue SV in MD.
It is being shipped (which I also posted about) & I hope to have it sometime soon.

It looks to be a bunch fancier than my '08 S.

OK, it has arrived & is definitely well used.

Likely I'll have more questions when it ain't snowing here - but to start with=>
Are the headlights any different and/or better on the 2012 vs. the 2008 ??

Thanks for any helpful replies !!

On an SV it's possible they're xenon HID's and not halogens. If the light is slightly bluish or purplish then they're HID's, if they're slightly yellowish then they're halogens.

I'll be checking for that ASAP, thanks VStar650CL.

I put a Xenon conversion into my old Saab & they were truly great.

The '08 has yellowed lenses which I can easily fix - but still, those halogens are really unimpressive.
