anyone know where I can get an air filter for the Spec-v? I have been to Pep boys, Advance auto, and Auto Zone with no luck.

hey man i doubt anything is out yet. are you planning on just replacing the filter and keeping the oem box or do you want to replace the intake altogether? there should be a bunch of aftermarket intake coming out in the next couple months. just keeping checking the forum i'm sure people will be posting when they get their hands on something.

Dealers will have the OEM paper junk. I suspect K&N will have a drop in filter soon, and aftermarket intake systems will be out shortly as well.

I want an aftermarket air intake but in the meantime I need to replace the paper element. The dealer doesn't even have one.I can't believe it takes over a year to come out with aftermarket goodies for this car.

I can believe it. With all the modern emissions nonsense and whatall it makes plenty of sense.

The other reason for lack of parts is lack of market. No so many of us yet. So not so much reasons to do stuff right now.

Eh, parts makers aren't stupid. They know the market is developing rapidly. It takes a little while to develop a product and also put it into the production scheme. There will be PLENTY of parts soon.
