The front is already quite low. You might have problems if you go lower. Tons of times I ended up pushing snow around this past winter and I am on original height. If you really use the car year around and especially if you go out during a storm before the plows comes out then I wouldn't lower. The problem is that if you stuff your front with snow you'll overheat.

If you only drive in the summer or you can be really sure you never go out in a winter storm then maybe you can. But just be careful of big blocks of half/fully frozen snow that sometimes gets kicked onto the road. Hit one this winter made a huge bang but didn't damaged anything. Might have been different story if the car was lower.

1.6in isn't that drastic. My brother has Vogtlands on his Audi A4 and hasn't had any issues.

That said, those springs are pretty darn stiff. They'll require aftermarket shocks, too, which I don't think there are any for the 07+ yet. My brother's ride is pretty jarring on rough roads with them, though that may partially be a function of having Bilstein shocks on as well.

Well regular height and I get snow in the bottom i guess "air scoop" part of the bumper. Doesn't touch the radiator and it usually just passes out the back way. So it's really up to you how comfortable you are. But when it's really bad outside I find the front grill usually gets clog with snow when you park. So the bottom scoop might be important if you forget to clear the snow from the grill.

For me personally the less snow mixed with salt that gets on my the car the better. So I'll keep the ride height original.
