2007 O2 sensor

My o2 sensor has gone, the dealer is telling me that I need to get it changed with them because it needs to be programmed with their computer, is there a way I can get a plug and play o2 sensor?

Never heard of that before. Didn't know o2 sensors were smart(programmed) to do anthing. It's all bs, unless what the stealership meant was because they needed to clear the CEL if there was one.
