Looks like the ls series is getting popular in everything, God the ride in the ls1 was sick and it ws so funny when a guy walked up to th window of it and said "is that an rb20?" and that I was in the l61 when it fishtailed leaving the parking lot my adrenaline rush for the next couple of weeks that thing was nothing short of sick even my dad thought it was badass

Damn the pics are goldne, I dont really have any to add...

Had a great time talking to people i knew and didnt know... Definitely worth the drive down.

everyone that didnt give jerry sh1t for not bringing his Z down should take the opportunity to do so now!!

Thanks, Steph, for taking a picture of my car... Feelin the love!!

in the end, like everyone else, the cars are only about half as much fun as the people.

In the end, it was a great day to get out of the house and mingle. Wish that I could have actually met more of you guys, especially the Z32 guys...But either way, looking forward to the next time. If you are ever in the area, don't hesitate to call. Next time around, I should be bringing another VG'd and TT'd project, but not the Z. LaterZ.

I flew first class to Nashville.

Barely any room for all my luggage! :D

iPod, Sprint Navigation, and universal USB charger

Air conditioned seats ROCK!

Had to RTFM to figure out the buttons.

110mph + barefoot =

For whatever reason, Greg was under the impression that those two french fries were the size of a Dagwood sandwich.

"Hello, Matthew. My name is Chris Hansen."

Evan, his awesome camera gear, and his awesome DSG Golf.

Andy's 240 vert looks great with the top down. At night, its a table.

James' SI

Skilled at making beer disappear

Tyler, who is 'nvrplzd'

Joe the diesel guy Wes and the return of the pink shirt

Booked a 4-star Mariott downtown through Priceline for $75 a night. Service was OUTSTANDING.

Thank you, Bill!

Appropriately, this place was located right next to our room.

The Lane Motor Museum stores cars in WORKING CONDITION. Amazing!More pics of the museum: http://www.q45.org/gallery/v/NashNICO2007/ A museum and gift shop devoted entirely to The Dukes of Hazzard.More pics: http://www.q45.org/gallery/v/N...age=3More pics: http://www.q45.org/gallery/v/N...age=4

Back at the Wingate where most folks stayed.

Went back to my hotel downtown.

Parking was pretty expensive, but service was polite and fast. $20 a night, then I tipped $5 at each in/out. Ended up being about $150 for the weekend.

Beautiful Nashville

Caravan downtown

Wow, Jimmy made quite the drive from Michigan.

The friendly NSR people from Ohio. Hopefully in Atlanta I'll get to see Jerry's Datsun pickup.

Wes was confined to the kids' table.

THATS NOT RIGHT!

Nick. A man of ideas.

THE WORST PLACE ON EARTH. So much farking rice. Some idiot in a Grand Am showed up, left his obnoxious music on, and pretty much put the nail in the coffin. It was time to leave.

LS1 S14. I LOVE. SO MUCH.

Cop came and made an offer for Matt's wheels. Very nice wheels.

All the nice legs in the world couldn't make up for all the gay rice.

DAMN THATS HOT.

I like.

More rice from that evening: http://www.q45.org/gallery/v/N...age=5

Back at the Wingate.

The gate was locked. I had to climb over as Greg did in this photo. My leg cramped up on the way in, forcing me to straddle the fence until the cramping stopped. On the way out, I smashed a nut. I didn't want kids anyway!

Classy!

Next day, big meet outside the stadium. I called down for my car.

Valet attendant driving up with my vehicle. There is NOTHING as cool as calling down and saying "I'm coming to pick up my Cadillac now." Thats probably why I came and left so many times.

I love Zs.

Beautiful Impul wheels.

Gay.

From afar I thought I saw a Chrysler logo on this Maxima!

Except for the wheels, this Continental was stunning.

Wes's Q, still looking good.

It was really hot, really humid, and I was tired, so I got in the Cadillac and turned on the AC seats and cooled off while I took a nap for what seemed like an hour.

CHICKEN AND A 40!

Ever watch Muscle Car on Spike TV? Yeah, its that guy!

More pics from that day's big meet: http://www.q45.org/gallery/v/N...age=6

I went back to the hotel and fell asleep for hours, and Fat Moe's was unfortunately closed. Nothing on the room service menu appealed to me, and I wanted to drive the Caddy so I went for a food cruise. I ended up getting a ticket for 45 in a 30 just a few feet from the hotel.I made sure to pull over ASAP, turn off the engine and radio, and turn on the overhead lights. The police officer was very friendly and gave me a ticket for online traffic school.

The room was clean and service was excellent.

Heading home...

FINALLY, a car with high speed cruise control! I never did get enough space to find the top speed.

BACONATOR!

I found myself very low on gas, so I pulled off in rural Illinois. I got lost and ended up in my hometown of Belleville, Illinois, which looks like this:

BEST ROAD TRIP EVER. I'll be returning to Nashville soon.

All Hail the Baconator!

Is Krystals good?

Anyway, is the Impul-wheeled S14 the same one with the LS1? It's a member car, isn't it?

The DTS looks plush.

I had no idea the chin ferret was dead.

Did your brother get back to St Louis alive?

Thanks for the props everybody. I was using a Nikon D50 with a 55-200mm Nikkor lens to do most of the shooting. I popped on a filter when I did the shots of Amanda next to the Nismo cars and I must have touched the lens with my finger and got a smudge on it. I blurred the background of those pics so the print wasn't noticeable. I need to go in and re-do the blurring though because some of it got on the main part of the image and distorted it a bit. I also sharpened a bit too much in some spots.

I wasn't that happy with the outcome of the pics at first, but if you all are happy I'm happy! I'll read a few books and put out twice the effort at NOPI Atlanta.

Hash, the Impul-wheeled s14 was not the LS1 car. That car is Chris Nichols' Mediterranean Blue Kouki with the incredibly sick SSR wheels. You missed a helluva meet bro.

Of course I did, I have years of tradition to uphold!

Joking, obviously. Assuming GT Live is the same weekend as it was last year, I'll be there live and in color, and I might actually get off my arse to help work it, if asked.
