2005 Pathy Electric tow kit install issues

So I am trying to install Electric Brakes tow kit CURT 56226 so that I have the 7 pin tow plug and electric brake controller. The kit says the Pathy must have the tow package which I think it does since it has the factory reese hitch, the plug in the back for the 7 pin plug and the plug under the steering wheel for the electric brake controller.

I successfully installed the 7 pin plug and the electric brake controller but the last component of the kit, the relay pigtail that goes behind the passenger kick panel is the issue.

There is supposed to be connector under there to plug this pigtail onto but I do not find one. Any suggestions?

The trailer does have lights, just doesn't have brake control now.

Had to look this up in ASIST for you, they don't sell the wiring kit anymore and everything but the ball mount is discontinued. There is no jumper harness in the kick panel like a Frontier, both of your trailer relays go in the relay box next to the IPDM. In most cases the relay sockets are there but the relays have to be added. The info you need starts on LT-121 in the manual, here's a link:
