Hi all,

I have 2004 Nisaan Maxiam SE. While playing one recorded CD, the CD is now stuck in the CD player. I am not able to take out that CD. And I am really bored listing to same songs over and over. :bang
I have some questions around this situation.

1. How can I take out the CD?
2. If not possible I would like to replace the stock stereo with the after market stereo . I looked at crutchfiled.com for part needed for the after market stereo installation.
Below is the list of parts crutchfield says i will need

http://www.crutchfield.com/p_120997404/ ... ize-E.html
http://www.crutchfield.com/p_120707550/ ... icles.html
http://www.crutchfield.com/p_12040NI10/ ... emale.html

Do i need anything else so that i can replace the factory stereo with after market and also steering wheel controls work with the new after market stereo?

Thank you in advance.

Mav.

Try disconnecting the battery first. This may reset the radio and eject the CD. You can also try to pry ot the CD while pressing the eject button but this will damage the CD and possibly the CD player too. Other option is to buy a refurbished. I'm not sure if aftermarket player will allow control from steering wheel.
