Thinking of buying a 2004 350Z with 50,000Mi. Did a carfax report and the whole nine, seems stable. They are asking $16300 after negotiations and 100,000 Mile wrap around warranty and Gap insurance. take it or leave it?

Your missing some vital information. What trim is it? Is it auto or standard?

I got my 04 enth with 21k miles for $16500. Body in mint condition, wheels didn't have one scratch on them. Interior still had the new car smell. It sounds like a pretty good deal.

its automatic Enthusiast, full set of new tires, had body scratches but have a "we owe" with dealership to fix them ALL as I pointed them out. Still smells new inside. No interior damage.

i work at a dealership make sure they go over with you exactly what is covered on thier warranty and aslo it sounds like for a 100k they are only going to cover the drivetrain u are paying for all of that even the stuff on the we owe so make sure you get exactly what you want they will tell you they are paying for it to be fixed but the markup on the car is supposed to cover it if it don't then you will be charged more.

sorry for the run on i'm at work good luck also if you want anything like wheels or accessories get them with the car factory installed nismo parts are covered by your warranty

I will ask more about the warranty, the we owe he said they are paying for it because i told him that I wasnt going to make my time fit around when they want to fix if I'm paying and they said "No, we're paying for that also". See what happened was I had an 07 Canyon and it was having engine problems under 20,000Mi well they wouldnt fix it after SEVERAL times of it dying on me. We talked, i wanted out of the truck, and I wanted something I could pay off under 5 years, but was nice and FUN to drive. thats what I got.

Don't get it. It's already kinda steep on the pricetag, and you're gonna regret driving an auto in the near future. Someone started a thread about this, you might want to check it out.

The price was fair if its a standard. For auto its a different story.

If you have to get that '04 auto, you might want to get that warranty or make sure that they fix the tire feathering and the rear axle clunking that the 03's and 04's are know for.

i say to everyone, if your buying a sports car and they offer a manual transmission, get it. You'll feel like your driving a sports car, not moms supercharged gran prix....
