2002+ Q45. Major Fuses, relays and modules... and their locations

Postby EdBwoy » Wed Jan 16, 2019 1:06 am

This info was based on a 2002 Q45, US Model. I cannot confirm what differences, if any, the 2005+ have. Maybe someone with an 05 or 06 can compare pictures of the fuse covers and let us know where the differences are.
I suppose for members in other markets everything is flipped from left to right?

First, these are locations of the components you are most likely going to deal with.

In the left interior we have Junction Box 1. The most common thing that comes to mind when we think "fusebox". It is located in the left kick panel, beside the parking brake pedal.
The accessory relay is located on the back side of this unit.

In the right interior we have Junction Box 2. It is not often that we remember this when we talk about a "fusebox", plus it doesn't have an easy access door. It is located in the right kick panel, and you access it by removing that interior trim piece.
You have to remove it and flip it to access the fuel pump, ECU and blower relay.

I might have missed it, but it doesn't seem like these fuses are labelled anywhere, so here goes the result of my research

Then you have the engine bay.
It has both a (fuse, fusible link and relay) box and block component
