My pathfinder has been tripping this code combo for a while. Based on research here and reading the manual I decided that I needed to replace the EVAP canister and the EVAP control valve. I went ahead and replaced the canister and valve and the error still comes back after ~50 miles of driving. What is the next step to troubleshoot/replace?

I am confused since the dealer was going to do the same exact thing, I am glad I did not give them the $600 to replace these two parts.

Did you actually clear the code after the repair? If you didn't it still may clear up on its own after while. My mxima took two weeks to clear on its own. The vehicle computer doesn't check the evap system after every startup. I replaced my valve last year and got the code again last month. I found a moth nest in one of the air hose lines near the cannister. Try blowing them out with a can of air.

I have cleared the code twice now, it still comes back after 50 miles.

I did blow out the lines that lead out of the canister with a compressor, they were clear.

Are there other valves that could be bad?

Did you verify that the vent control valve is actually working. You can remove it and connect wires to it with a fuse link and connect them to your battery. Look to see if the plunger moves. Check the electrical plug connection. Vacuum hoses from the cannister should go to a plastic valve.Carefully look at the hose connections and the valve for cracks. It looks something like this one from my ALtima or Maxima.
