2000 altima instrument cluster intermittant

Gauges and odometer drop out when hot, come back when cold.Removed cluster and checked solder connections on the cluster Unified meter control unit, seem ok. It seems like a connection issue due to the heat and cold affecting performance. Anyone find any definitive solution to this problem. It seems to happen to many 2000 - 2001 Altimas and have not found a real solution. Any help appreciated!
