I did the same fog lights almost two years ago on my vert. theyre still in the car but theyre blow. cheap apc stuff. you can smell the plastic getting hot. theyre not sealed very well and rain gets in and messes them up. the vibration eventually cracks the lens. when i do it again im gonna find a different brand.

Originally, I started with a small light, but didn't like the size, so moved to bigger one.
Do you have any pictures from far away. Those look sick. I was never much of a fan of fogs on a 240 but this thread definitely changed my mind

please more pics of that white 1, i wanna see how that looks from far away too. Good write up Op, i was thinkin about doin that when i get my nexk s13 but then again i dunno if i want fogs to be behind the grille or in the middle like the 300gt has. How is the lightput at night like, do they really make a difference for you, cause thats whats gonna matter to me most next time. Lights that actually function for my purpose.

What did you ask for at autozone to get those lights? Did they come as a set? I'm looking online now and can't find any sets just single ones. I'm hoping I can get out and do this tomorrow if I can get some time. Awesome write up

Hey sorry but i just had to steal your idea. I went to advance auto the next day and bought a set of clears. And to xx240fox21xx they come in a pack. $20 for 2 foglights, switch, and all the wiring and fuse box. Here are mine First switch is for sleepy eyes and second is for fogs. I ran the wiring around and through the fire wall were the hood latch goes. Only took about two hors but is definitely worth it. Thanks again for the idea.

thanx to the original poster of this post...i was running w/ only one side fog light for awhile because i had the Canadian DRL and shatter the right side and didn't have money to replace it...this will hold me over until i have some money to order the another one...however i dont know if i would ever go back to the canadian ones cuz they r not functionable at all...they just look cooler if painted yellow...and these actually have great potential

Google sleepy eyes video and you'll find the best way to do them in video form. or just search sleepy eyes here.

its easy.....pull out the button for the Flip up motors and cut the brown wire. after that when the button is pushed in it stops the head lamp where ever you want.

To make them light up when they are half way down you have to do this http://www.nicoclub.com/articles.php?id=200234 pretty easy though took me about an hour and was well worth it. Your bright lights will make them come back up though if you turn them on.

I just installed these tonight on my car, no pics yet but was wondering if anyone had any experience with these bulbs since I am looking to change mine out:
