Tonight, on the way home, my brake light (on the dash) came on for about 10 minutes, then went off. Not the ABS idiot light, but the brake light (as if the E-brake was engaged).

Any thoughts?

Also, since I had the plenum pulled and 2 injectors replaced 2 weeks ago, now she idles REALLY rough when cold... Like when I start her up, she's smooth, then about 30 seconds afterwards she starts to LOPE like a musclecar. Once temp gauge starts to climb, she smooths out, and warm idle is beautifully smooth. I'm not noticing a loss of power or hesitation, it's just the cold idle.

Any thoughts?

When my SE-R did the brake light thing it was a diode in the alternator going bad, and for the idle problem could be one of the injector o-rings are not seated correctly but when the engine temps get up the rubber expands and the leak is sealed, had this happen on the Sentra as well when I went to a larger injector, hope this helps.

The brake light also doubles as a lbrake fluid level indicator.

Even if it seems full, topping off has fixed smiliar problem for me on previous Q.

Brake fluid might be a tad low, jostling the fluid might be setting off the light, plus change in volume with change in temp. I agree with 1qckser--for the rough idle check for an injector leak.

Got it - The service guy's gonna be pissed, but he got paid, so that's that.

I'll have him check it out.
