Hey all. For those who have tranny coolers on their Altimas, are you using a 2 port of 4 port cooler block? I see some schools of thought believing a 2 port is useless because you are just cooling the engine coolant more, which doesn't help the transmission fluid much, while a 4 port takes the tranny oil directly and cools it though the cooler. My CVT runs well now but I would like to protect it from heat before summer comes. Has anyone installed a cooler on their Altima?

I may be incorrect about the Altima even having a cooler block. I was reading about the Sentra's and Rogue's having the cooling blocks. Just thought the Altima would have it too. Can anyone confirm how the transmission oil is cooled in the Altima? Does oil exit and go to the radiator? Where would you put an aftermarket transmission cooler? What line would you feed from?
