no big deal you'll find it.

or you can weld a pipe to your existing mounts

Lol, I actually found the bar finally, and then remembered why I took it off in the first place! It stretched or something, because it now hits the top of the valve cover. So I have to buy a new one, haha

Gt2871R .64ar @20PSI. stock head , cams, and intake with built bottom end. I just got some 26x8.5x15 MT ET drags and was wondering if you run the tubes with them. I felt like I was riding a pony down the track Friday night without tubes at 12 psi on stock narrow wheels? Is it the tubes or are my wheels to narrow? You should be in the mid to low 11's easily. Depending on how much your williing to boost it with the stock bottom end???

Well, my buddies Graig and Thomas in Redding ran a 10.97 @ 129 mph in their S13 SR'd S14. It only put down 385whp running 25psi on the stock bottom end (small crappy turbonetics turbo). But Thomas has been drag racing turbo RWD cars for 30 years, and their S14 was no heavyweight, lol. They also were running 10" wide slicks, haha.

I'll be running 20 psi with my GT3071R, which should get me close to 400whp, but I'm not counting my chickens yet! haha

When I ran my 26x8.5x15's, I ran tubes and ran 18 psi on them. This was with my stock T25 which was pretty much blown (smoked, lol). Ran the piss out of that thing, and still pulled a 13.1 @ 104 mph (slow compared to a healthy t25). 60 Ft's were Sh*tty, but mainly because the slicks I had were 2 years old, and were very worn! I only had 3 or 4 events on them before I had to throw them away. 60' were 1.7 to 1.9 typically.

Here's a vid of "back then" when i raced a noob with a new Shelby GT500, haha.

Yeah, running on pure slicks is definitely something different feeling than regular radials!

UPDATE!!!----------

Ok, well today I got the car running a lot smoother. It still dies here and there after letting of the gas (even if the BOV doesn't go off), and the exhaust needs to be redone, because the muffler shop here in Klamath Falls Sucks!I broke in the diff tonite (30 minutes of slow figure eights!) and did a short second gear run at 17 psi...... it pulls! lol. Hopefully I can figure out this profec B boost controller soon, so i can get the most out of the 20 psi I plan on running! In the morning, I am changing the diff fluid, and going over all the drivetrain/exhaust bolts to make sure everything is nice and snug.

Then I'm off to redding, to break in my clutch before saturday's show and drag races, and the following mornings auto-x!!! Too bd I'll only be on crappy street tires! haha

Twin scroll is definitely the way to go if you can swing it. I wish I had that kind of loot... but eh i guess i get enough of a kick out of my setup while retaining functional A/C :P

What brand clutch was your 3 puck? and how do you like the ACT 6 puck now? I have an Exedy stage-2 and it's kind of balls.

Also if at all conveniently possible, try adding a bend to your intake between the MAF and turbo. supposedly the vortices generated by the compressor can throw off maf readings if you're using straight enough piping. At 20psi you wouldn't want to wonder about the accuracy of your tune because of something like that.. or you could go MAP if the PowerFC is compatible with them?

The problem with the ben between the turbo and the MAF is location. Where in the hell am I going to put it! Ha ha. The only other place that I can fit the MAF and filter is between the radiator and the engine itself. I really don't want all that hot air hitting it. When I get some more time and money (mainly time!) I am going to build a custom air box in the fender, and have the pipe go there, then I'll get my bend, lol. However, You at least want 3" of straight pipe before and after the MAF so you do not get different velocities on the outer and inner sides of the bend. This will also throw off your readings. It's a touchy thing to get MAFs perfectly happy. However, they are far more accurate than MAP sensors, because they read the mass of the air flowing in, not just the pressure (which can change with temperature, as well as other things).

As for the clutch, my old one was the exedy stage 2, however it was only rated at about 350 lbs of tq or something like that (forgot exactly), and I really didn't want to push it, so I went with a clutch that was a little stronger. I'll put in my input of the ACT, once it is broken in! ha ha

I dont know if this has been covered but, with my top mount turbo setup my ps pump whines once i drive for a lil while. Im getting thermo-tec wrap and trying that out first, if not i'll go for a cooler. I think it might be something to look out for.

Only a certain models of the PFC. I think it's the L-Jetro.

i have input on my ACT unsprung 6 puck clutch and street light flywheel. THEY KICK ***!!!! it is either on or off and i love that for clutch kicking it or just launching. and once your all ready going the grab isnt harsh enough for it to be obnoxious.

and as far as breaking them in i called up act and they said there is no breakin period need for this clutch. i took that and tested it. boosting 10 psi for a weekend and 300 miles of driving but i drove it hard. and it is about 1500 miles later and it is still doing great.

and ryon it is the power FC D-jetro that is MAP based

and as far as the inlet bends and stuff for the MAF i have never hear of that before. my pipe is only about 10 inches long and has abouta 45 degree bend on the sid nearest the truebo but i am using the stock t25 turbo outlet as well. i just figured it wouldnt be good to have the MAF right off the turbo because of heat. never thought about volocity

a twin scroll manifold has a divided outlet. seperating the exhaust gas from cylinders 1/4 and 2/3.

it requires a purpose built turbo manifold.and a split turbine housing on the turbo.

twin scroll vs reg

Well, I did a mail order tune, because I haven't been able to learn the power FC. So it runs, but the AF is about 10.4 in boost. It backfires here and there and leaves a fuel cloud behind me when under boost. It still fast, but not the potential it should be at because of the tune. I did get it to approx 160mph the other night, lol. It pulled on my buddy's 347 stroked 68 mustang (he ran a 12.4 last time at the track, with a crappy 2.0 60 ft.). I need tires bad though, It will either bog under boost, or just spin for days, lol. Should be getting slicks next week, and I'll be running on the track after wards, so I should have some results!

I start to build boost around 3400 rpm's and it hits full boost around 4k to 4100 RPM's. Little more laggy then I'm used to, but it's not too bad, lol.

Once I get her to the track with some tires, I'll post everything up!

BTW, I'm running about 19 psi right now.

When are you going to run the 1/4? and maybe a dyno run. I know you have a stock bottom end and intake but what cams? When you get your afr around 11.5-12 it should be a beast. You know you could just turn the boost up!!

I have a big date at the end of October with 2 local doctors and a mechanic here in Kentucky. The doctors have a C6 Z06 and a 2007 911 turbo and the mechanic has about $150K in a 89 930 slant nose with twin triple k turbos putting down over 500whp. They all road race at road Atlanta and will be at the drag track for the 1st time and they are over confident. I will be posting videos of each race.

I am putting JWT S4 cams, topspeed intake, and going 25psi on 110 race fuel for the big showdown. I am scheduled for the dyno the 1st weekend in October with the new setup. With them running street tires and me on wrinkle walls I should have a nice lead at the 60' mark. I have driven the Z06 and the 930 slant nose. I am very close to the z06 but the 930 will smoke me with me current setup. Hopefully I can close the HP gap a little and out drive him.

Take a stock Sr, add some 350Z and crotch rocket, and that's what mine sounds like, ha ha. I'll get a vid up when I can use a camera! lol

Wednesday I should be running with my brand new set of slicks if I can get the car buttoned up! Dyno pull is in the future, but don't have a date yet. The Motor is completely stock internally. No cams, nothing, lol. All OEM!
