You are going to need to trailer it (what I'll be doing this weekend, lol) if it's a MAP setup. If it's still a MAF with a stock MAF, the PFC comes with a factory tune, so you could technically drive it with the stock injectors and not go into boost, but I wouldn't recommend it. To be safe, just trailer it. It's on $60 to rent a trailer if you don't have one.K Wolfe wrote:There is a shop about an hour from me called Drift Speed, they sell and dyno tune power fc's and I've browsed through silvia, nico, etc. and people recommend them so fairly confident they will be good. Question, how do I actually drive my car there to get it tuned haha? Do I get a base map that will just get me there in a decent manner or trailer it?
You can at the risk of sucking crap into the turbo and destroying it.K Wolfe wrote:Sounds good. You know how people have the "trumpets" on their turbo, like a flared end on it, can you use one of those if you're running on a map (I.e. using power FC)?
K Wolfe wrote:Oh I thought they had some kind of mesh or filter on the inside. The guys that are installing/tuning my power FC told me I need a bung for an intake air temp sensor, is this true? And where am I supposed to put it?
I never did. I only ran the 19psi (spiked to 20). However, this was all on a crap tune, so my old numbers really don't mean anything. I'd expect a large margin better with a good tune.K Wolfe wrote:Oh okay. I was thinking it had to be in the intake going into the turbo but I'm glad I can put it on the cold pipe. Did you ever make any passes with the TS 3071 on 15 psi? I'm thinking about running 15 psi and just going with whatever numbers I get.

It's still at the shop, they were working on the wiring harness today. Their dyno broke a couple weeks ago, so they got really behind. I'll have more updates when I get it backacefrez wrote:Any Updates Really Interested in the build of this car
