Very nice, I'm calmly searching for a set of wheels same pattern as yours and I love the 275s on the it. The flared out look is beast mode in my mind!

Acquired a brand new N1 RB26DETT engine block from a friend of mine yesterday. It's the start to a very long road, lol. It'll sit for awhile, but I'm still pretty pumped about it! I haven't fully decided yet, but I've been eyeing the Nitto 2.8L 86.5mm bore stroker kit. The main reasons why I like the Nitto kit is that they retain the factory length rod (they move the wrist pin up) which reduces piston speeds (helps retain RPM characteristics of the RB26), decreases the rod angle (less friction and stress going sideways against the cylinder walls), and increases the dwell time (lets stuff burn more completely at high RPM), and you get a nice billet crank. Plus, the Australians are crazy, and I like crazy!

I didn't know that group existed, ha ha. I picked it up from a friend of mine who lives down the road from me. He did have it posted online however, so it's possible!

Did you look into Spool's kit? Come with spline drive crank and oil pump. Also from them crazy downunders.

What's your plan for turbos?

For turbo setup, I'm thinking of a single BW EFR 8374, but haven't quite decided yet. I did just recently look into their kit. After doing more research, I'm a little worried about both Spool and Nitto as they are both made in China (Like BC). With that said, some of the name brand "Japanese" companies also have parts made in China (or Taiwan); Greddy is a good example. I need to do some more research into failure rates of both. If they are anything like BC, I'll have to look elsewhere.

How about HKS? RHDJapan is having a giant promotion for HKS stroker kit, a free set of HKS camshafts with a stroker kit purchase.

If you go single, BW EFR is the way to go!

HKS doesn't sell the step 3 stroker kit anymore :( It was the only kit that had the full counterweighted billet crank if I remember correctly. I did see the promo though, ha ha!

Found a brand new OEM Nissan front bumper and lip for a pretty good deal! My bumper and lip have some flaws that I didn't want to address when I get the car re-painted (factory color), so I picked these up instead. I've seen some other TH1 GTR's with a gray/black lip and I thought it looked pretty good, but I'm not totally sure if I want to go that route or paint it body color like my current lip. Did they always come body color from the factory? I'm open for discussion there.

It depends. If you have a smooth lip it was painted OEM if you have a textured lip then it was not painted from the factory. It was popular and pretty cheap for them to be painted though.

Ahh, makes sense. This one is textured and so is the one on the car that's painted, ha ha.

My brother has already laid claim my friend. He's going to cut it up to fit onto his S13, lol. It's not in the best shape, the mounting holes are warped so it sags quite a bit and two of the front mounting screw retaining squares are screwed up.

Only one's that came with a smooth lip that I know of are the 94' years because it's the crossover to the R33. But then again the R33 GTR had a textured black lip too.

I haven't checked, but I'm going to assume not, lol. I still need to find the actual OEM vents first. I want a set, but I also don't want to pay $700+ for a pair of used ones, lol!

This is going to get intense! Whats going on with that new N1? And how do you like the steering wheel?

The N1 Block is sitting for awhile. I need to get my S14 back on the track before I dive into a giant R32 project! When I start however, the plan is a Nitto 2.8 stroker kit with a borg warner EFR 9174. And I love the steering wheel, ha ha.

I know I haven't done any updates recently, car is down and waiting on a few parts, but I did get a brand new OEM cylinder head for the N1 engine build!

Hoping to get the parts in soon, then I will have a more substantial update (with work done, not just parts coming in, ha ha).

Indeed! Ha ha. Was at Full-Race yesterday talking about turbo kit options.... ha! Probably 4-6 months before I am ready to buy the turbo kit and stoker kit. Working on buying a house first! My criteria before I'm allowed to build a new engine :chuckle:

Have you looked into Garrett's new G-series turbos came out a few months ago? It is clearly made to compete with Borg Warner EFI.

I have, I was talking to them about doing twin 660's possibly. For the power goal I'm thinking of now (I've changed my mind a few times already, ha ha), I will have to go twins.

As for cams, I've been kicking around the idea of doing the HKS vcam pro, but it's expensive, so I may just do some 272's.
