2+2 1990 300ZX Ebrake handle switch

What's up guys it's been a while! For the longest time I've had my ebrake light flickering on my dash and finally decided to tighten both my ebrake shoes and handle. Come to find out my ebrake switch is very lose. I read that you are supposed to "bend" the switch but does not specify which way to bend it? And yes it is the switch because when I move it around it flickers on my dash. Any help is appreciated!
