i have a 98 maxima and i love it but i am beginning to have some problems with it (200,000 miles will do that). this only happens about every 6 months so i don't know what is up..... i can get into my car after work and it starts fine but if i turn the car off and run into the store or something i can get back into the car and nothing happens. the lights come on and the radio works so i know that my battery is fine (just got a new one the week before) but there is no noise the motor doesn't attempt to do anything. after about an hour or so you can attempt to start it and it works fine. HELP!!!!!!

lol man I'm sorry for being such an *** but ...you need a new starter motor DUHHHHHH.

The next time it does it, go out and hit the starter solenoid located on the motor and see if she starts up right away. don't hit it hard enough to break it, but hit like u would your girlfriend when she looks at another guy.
