1997 maxima throttle position sensor question

I was getting info from the chilton book and im trying to figure out if i have a bad TPS or bad harness. It says that the resistance on it should read 0.5 closed throtttle and the throttle fully opend should read 4.0 ohmsNow my reading in my car showed a closed throttle is at 0.69 and a throttle fully opend at 3.68 now is this a bad throttle position sensor?Please help im a rookie on working on cars thanks..
