1997 infiniti i30 starting problem

When i first start my car in the morning it starts fine but after riding andoarking it for a while it takes it a while to start as i turn the key.i just had a starter put on not to long ago so can someone please help me and tell me wats going on.

have you checked to see if the alternator is charging properly or the battery is holding a charge properly?

No i havent checked the alternator..how would i do dat? is it something i can do or do i have to have it done somewhere? and the is still fairly new not to long ago just got it.

use a multimeter when the car is running and measure the battery to see if you are getting >13.6v (minimum) and preferably >14v

I was thinking it could be the alternator but upon reading your post it seems the car does start, just starts slow after you've been driving for a while (and starts fine after sitting for a while). That leads to other things of which I'm not totally sure. You don't have a SES do you?

Yes the car do start but when i turn the key the first time it just act like its gonna crank for like 5 sec of me holding it and den it will start..but if i turn it one time and it dont start it alwayse start the second time right away.but i want it to start as soon as i turn the key you know wat i mean..it get kind of embarrassing at times.

When was the last time you replaced the fuel filter (near brake booster)? Is the CEL on?

Yes the cel is on but i think dats from a p1320 problem i am having..but i havent chanced the fuiel filter since i had the car..and a guy from advance said it might be my fuiel pump.so idk

so your car is not starting, and you have an ignition system fault code................I think you found the culprit. Find out what is throwing the P1320 code
