1997 Hardbody Purchasing tips and questions!!

Hello, I would first like to say I absolutely know nothing about Nissans so bare with me, haha. I am in the process of selling my 1996 Dodge Ram Cummins 12 Valve and these Nissan Hardbodies have sparked my interest. I do not intend to do any modifications to whatever Nissan I get, I simply just want to use it as a daily driver.

I am looking to possibly buy a 1997 Nissan Hardbody standard cab 4x4 this weekend.. The truck has roughly 160,000 miles on it and would like some insight in what to look for and watch out for. How much is too much? He is asking 3,000. Also, I will be bringing a scan tool with me to check for codes. Here is the listing..

3,000 isn't bad if everything checks out.

Definitely look for rust... everywhere. Frame rust isn't TOO difficult to repair if you have a welder and some basic knowledge.

The only other big thing I can think of would be oil leaks on the engine. If all that is good, pull the trigger!
